Why the Bitcoin halving matters
What changes mechanically, what can affect price, and why a halving is not a guaranteed bull-market trigger.
A smaller flow of new supply can matter more when demand is steady or rising. If demand weakens, the halving alone does not force price higher. Miner economics, ETF/institutional flows, leverage and liquidity all matter.
Bitcoin trades inside the broader risk environment. Rates, liquidity, inflation, equity momentum and volatility can amplify or overwhelm the supply effect during different cycles.
